Use the 'Invite Colleagues to Follow your Website' tool to invite non-members to follow your website and receive your association's upcoming event invites, messages, announcements and other important notifications!
Getting Started:
As long as you are logged in and have moderator access you can access the "Invite Colleagues to Follow your Website" tool in the Post and Manage tab of the control panel:
Select a marketing list you have imported or copy and paste new email addresses manually. You may add a custom message to deliver a branded 'invite to follow' email to your contacts.
Inviting colleagues to follow your website is the first step in establishing a connection with them and growing your reach.
Marketing List: once you have sent an 'Invite to Follow' email, the email addresses on your list will automatically get added to your marketing list, allowing you to include this list on subsequent event invites, annoucement broadcasts and messages sent from your website.
Additionally, once someone on your marketing list joins or follows your website, their respective email address will automatically be removed from the marketing list, since they're now part of your member / follower database.
