Pending attendees / exhibitors

If you're using the Tickets system for your upcoming event, you may notice pending attendees and/or pending vendors/exhibitors/sponsors listed below your registrations within the event dashboard. Pending attendees are those who have completed the entire registration process, but did not checkout/pay.

Hover your cursor over the pending attendee's name to obtain their contact information to inquire if they have questions about your event, or if they prefer to pay via another method (like cash or check).

If paying by check or by another source, you can manually activate their registration via the links to the right of their name, upon receiving payment.  Please see these steps illustrated below:

Step 1: locate pending attendees/exhibitors:

Step 2: obtain contact information and manually issue ticket once appropriate:

More information about Pending Registrations:

*Once a registration is on the pending list, the ticket will remain available for that attendee, however, if tickets sell out or if registration closes before the pending registrant pays for their ticket via credit card, then the prospective attendee will not be able to independently purchase the ticket.

*That being said, if the prospective attendee has mailed a check or their employer is sending payment on their behalf, then a moderator can always manually activate the pending attendee's ticket from the control panel, after registration has officially closed.  If registration has reached its capacity, a moderator will have to first make another ticket available by adjusting the ticket quantities from the event manager in order to manually register the attendee.

*When pending tickets are canceled by a moderator, ticket quantities are not affected since the registration was never technically 'on hold' nor was the pending ticket ever preventing other attendees from registering; therefore, pending registrations do not affect the amount of tickets available to the public.
