Removing the border around an image

If you are inserting an image within a web page, announcement, event description or on the homepage of your association's website, you will notice the image will naturally have a border surrounding it.  This border or frame is provided to wrap text around the image, however sometimes, you may wish to remove this border from your image.

Here are the steps to remove the 'box' or frame around your image:

1) From the photo icon dropdown within the toolbar, insert the image as you normally would using the Media Manager tool 
 
 
2) Right click the inserted image and 'Copy image URL' or 'Copy Image Address' (this will vary based on what browser you're using)
 
 
3) Delete/remove the inserted image
 
4) Click the media icon again, but this time in the dropdown, choose the option to 'Insert Image from URL' and paste the copied URL/image link into the widget and hit Save:
 
 
 
5) Your image will now appear without the frame around it. You can drag the corner of the image to resize and move the image anywhere on the page as needed:
